DescriptionWe created a Wise Step Team Google site for our professional development. We thought this would be a great resource for other staff members to refer to as they strive to incorporate more technology into their daily teaching. We focused on the following: Blogger, Kool Tools, Movie Maker, Online Tools, and Podcasting. We included a introduction page as well. We provided "how-to" steps, links to our Bloggers, and important websites to remember.
ReflectionI am an avid fan of Google Sites. It is such a great way to store information and provide resources for others. My team and I worked together to create the site. Each of us committed to completing a certain portion of the Site. I feel that we have provided a storehouse of information for others to use. There is so much more that we could add as well. Last year, we chose to do a newsletter. I believe our choice this year was much better. It's interactive, creative and inviting! If I had this to do all over again, I would suggest building the Google Site as we go along, instead of building it towards the end of our STEP experience. I enjoyed working on the site, and it was great to work with my team. We helped one another to reach our goal.
